Lessons & Clinics

Lessons with Elizabeth

Every student is different, with different backgrounds, abilities, interests and goals.  We teach each person accordingly and, no matter their goals, want riders and their horses relaxed, comfortable and happy.  All ages, disciplines, breeds and experience levels are welcome and we offer encouraging, positive instruction that is conducive to learning and making progress.

The basis of all good riding is dressage, which is simply a word that means training.  So whether you ride dressage, western or english, endurance or jumpers, trail or just around your home, the basics are important.  Looseness, relaxation, suppleness, bend, elasticity, a relaxed and happy attitude are all important in every discipline at all levels.  Whether you are just beginning or are a seasoned competitor, our instruction will build on your strengths and help you develop not only an athletic horse but a willing and happy partner that you can enjoy.

Lessons are offered on your horse or a Fox Run Farm school horse. Safety is paramount and helmets and heeled boots are required for all students.  Instruction is available in ground work, lunging, flat work and over fences. We have a covered arena with rubber footing  so lessons are available during the day or evening and on week days or the weekends.

Lessons are available in several packages according to your needs. Ala carte lessons are available as time allows.  Click here for pricing.

Clinics or camps at your home, farm or facility are also available. Contact Elizabeth for details.

Virtual real time lessons and video critiques are also available so you can receive instruction without ever leaving home.  Click here for details.
